Galway’s famous racing festival will not be held in public this year because of the coronavirus crisis. There is a chance it could be held behind closed doors but it will be a very different event if that happens. Karen Coleman recently spoke to the manager of the Ballybrit racecourse Michael Moloney, about their recent decision to cancel the racing festival in its traditional form.
